The lawsuit implicates Vin Diesel’s sister, Samantha Vincent, who runs One Race Films, and the production company itself. Jonasson claims that the termination was a result of her no longer being useful to Diesel after the alleged assault.
The suit also asserts that another executive from the company had previously propositioned Jonasson in the same hotel a few days before the incident with Diesel. The charges include sexual battery, gender discrimination, illegal retaliation, emotional distress, and wrongful termination.
Vin Diesel’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, issued a statement categorically denying the claims, stating that Diesel had never heard about this “more than 13-year-old claim made by a purportedly 9-day employee.”
Jonasson’s lawyer, Claire-Lise Kutlay, stated that her client seeks to hold Vin Diesel and those involved in the alleged sexual assault accountable for their actions. She hopes that Jonasson’s decision to come forward empowers other survivors and contributes to lasting change.
